TN RAFFAELLO
ocean liner model

We at ModelShipMaster.com do whatever it takes to build accurate and beautiful cruise ship models for your beautiful home and esteemed office. Our models stand grand, projecting characters. They don't look 'dead' like a plastic toy or a simple decorative accessory.

Models might look similar but when examined closely, they are quite different. When you search, pay particular attention to accuracy and construction method. Look for large enough photos to see if the windows and doors are dark decal (will peel off eventually) or real cuts. Do the photos show all angles of the model ship? Your authentic model not only serves you well but also will become a valuable heirloom for your children to remember you by. To learn more, click here: accurate model ships. Thank you for allowing us to be in your recollection.

The Raffaello was generally one of the most beautiful ships both on the inside and the outside to ever serve on any route.  She provided perfect service from the very beginning, with her luxurious and very Italian restaurants, her six swimming pools, Originally she was also faster than her sister, probably owing to her slightly longer and narrower hull.  However, when the Michelangelo's screws and transmission were changed during her first winter overhaul in January 1966, she overtook her sister on that front.

The Raffaello was slightly bigger then her sister (by only 22 tons.)  The times when the ships were simultaneously travelling on the transatlantic route were very exciting for the passengers. The two beauties would pass each other on the sea, passing each other with combined speed of over 50 knots.  The powerful waves created by a ship shooke the other one... The captains had them pass each other as near as was safely possible to get the most from such occasions.

Together with TS Michelangelo model, this TN Raffaello classic ocean liner ship model is displayed on the CMIT-Europe's board meeting room. The primarily wood model features:

- Plank-on-frame hull. This construction method gives accurate hulls, as artisans create the frame of the hull exactly like in drawings. The solid hull method, on the other hand, employs most guesswork on the degree of curvature.

- Windows and portholes are cutouts (not black decals), uniform, and on straight lines.  We are not shy to show the model in large photos. Nothing to hide!

- Note: We didn't hang the lifeboats on one side of the ship for your view of the windows and doors and also our davits which by far the most accurate and beautiful.

Just notify us of the issue within 10 days of the model's delivery. We understanding that no model is perfect. Since our models never have have structural errors like others', minor changes will be achieved in very little effort and at no cost to you.

Don't be fooled by some model makers out there who freely claim their models "museum quality" or even "true museum quality". Their ships are wrong on many counts. The hull is horrible. Some parts are oversized yet other undersized. Plenty are wrong; Many are missing.  Go here to learn more: how to choose a model ship.

"Hello Frank, yes it's a beautiful model, my compliments; just one remark, I would have liked seeing the Italian merchant marine flag flying instead of a naked mast…  George"
