COSTA SERENA

Costa Serena is a Concordia-class cruise ship for the Italian cruise line Costa Crociere. The name Serena was intended to symbolize harmony and serenity.  Since her inauguration and entry into service in mid-2007, she has been the line's flagship.   Together with her sister ship, Costa Serena are the largest and longest ships in the Costa Crociere fleet.

This Costa Serena cruise ship model features:

  • Scratch-built from official plans

  • Wooden and metal parts.  Aprox. 10% synthetic material such as the windows

  • Plank-on-frame hull construction (yes, even at this small size) just like the way real ships are built

  • Even at this small size, the superstructure is hollow, being comprised of numerous individual thin pieces of wood glued together, not several solid pieces stacking on top one another.

  • LED lighting, 9v battery

This 24" long ship model is a special orders and not for sale.  If you'd like to have a similar one, please let us know of your preferences by clicking on this link: Commissioning
