ModelShipMaster.com is a U.S. company located in southern California, about 25 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. The company was founded in 2000. We are the only company in the USA who does not mix junk in its offerings. We sell what we produce. No dropshipping, no horrible items in our lineup.

ModelShipMaster produces works of art. Since inception, our team not only focuses on accuracy but also strives for attractiveness. An explorer by heart, we have pioneered many great features that give ship models the level of aesthetics never seen 20 years prior globally. Even today, nowhere else in the world you can see wonderful micro woodworking in ancient ship models, natural-looking billowing sails on tall ships, amazing guns and aircraft on warships, and spectacular lighting on modern vessels.

Our commitment pays off. In March 2009, Mr. Ray Ashley -- the president of the Maritime Museum of San Diego -- reached out to commission four ships. Today, our models are displayed in major museums such as the Smithsonian Museum, Coast Guard Museum NorthWest, Mariners' Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, National Museum of the American Sailor. Training centers value accuracy the most, and our models are in the United States Naval War College, U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Naval Postgraduate School. Not only reputable public institutions, prestigious private shipyards such as Benetti, Privinvest, Hargrave Custom Yachts, Midnight Express, and many cruise ship operators also come to us when they have a need.

ModelShipMaster's ability to make ship models is far superior than any other firms. Our team is simply a better team: better skills, vaster knowledge, deeper commitment. We always make greater models than others, even for the ships we have not built before. Take our Coast Guard line as an example. We started the line in 2020 - more than 10 years after a prominent Coast Guard model maker, but all of our over 20 models are much better, and the Coast Guard Museum Northwest reached out to commission a model in 2023 and another in 2024. Another example is the iconic USS Monitor that we built for Mr. Dwight S. Hughes, a Civil War navy historian in 2020, and a major museum in 2022.

What separates ModelShipMaster from the rest is that our team cares more about accuracy and prestige than money. Without our stellar commitment, majestic models of maritime marvels such as the Wonder of the Seas and Paul Allen's Octopus superyacht would have never existed.

After over 20 years of gratifying work, many members of our team start thinking about creating the world's first comprehensive maritime museum. We have visited many nautical museums and felt that the ship models there seemed to be collected randomly by many successive curators and, as a result, the museums offer very little educational benefit. Our envisioned museum will have many spacious rooms, each features one type of ships and changing themes (i.e. Maritime Innovations that Changed the World, Naval Battles of WWII, Important American Civil War's Vessels, Historic Submarines, Famous Yachts, Most Loved Boats.) In the front stand several massive 15'-20' models. Outside, we plan to have a pond to reenact famous battles (the ships are connected to runways on the bottom of the pond and the whole acts are computerized.) This endeavor requires high finance and we are seeking assistance or partnership. After the initial development is completed, private benefactors and corporate sponsors will donate and we will be able to offer free admissions on American national holidays. We hope that with the creation of this museum, many high schools will start to offer a class about maritime history, authors will collaborate to write text books for them, and Southern California will have another great place for millions of global tourists.
