BENETTI BNOW

Benetti designed the
B.Now range in-house. By using a standardised
platform, Benetti has a quicker turnaround on these
big yachts while maintaining the brand’s high
standards.
One of the standout
aspects of the B.Now design is how well the decks
are linked. Moving between them feels completely
natural - there’s no hunting for hidden staircases
or passageways. Everything flows really well, making
it easy for guests to navigate the yacht.
The vast exterior spaces include an aft beach area
with a glass-walled pool, an enormous forward lounge
on the upper deck, and an open sun deck. About 40
per cent of the yacht’s ‘walkable’ living space is
outdoors.
The B.Now 50 features the Oasis Deck - a reimagined
take on the traditional stern swim platform/beach
club. Benetti challenged RWD to rethink the concept
of a beach club, as some of the more traditional
designs had lost their connection with the water.
The result has been a game-changer for Benetti, and
the trend is almost set in stone across the
industry.
The
Benetti B.Now range is also at the forefront of hybrid
propulsion. Benetti’s E-Mode Hybrid System has
diesel generators, electric motors, and lithium-ion
batteries. In Enhanced Comfort Mode for slow-speed
cruising, diesel engines remain off while generators
supply power to electric motors. Extended Range Mode
is optimized for longer journeys, using the main
engines to power the electric motors as shaft
generators while the generators stay off. Eco
Transfer Mode runs on a single propulsion engine
with both generators off, reducing fuel consumption
and CO₂/NOx emissions. Eco Cruise Mode is designed
for short coastal trips, allowing for zero-emission
operation in protected seas, depending on battery
capacity.
A world
premiere at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, the
Benetti B.Now 50M is
the first in a family of four steel B.Now models, which
also includes the 60M, 67M and 72M. UK-based studio RWD
designed all four and each is available with a
traditional aft deck or the Oasis Deck.
Benetti
announced in Monaco that a staggering 16 units of the
B.Now 50M had been sold as of late September, also
stating that B.Now construction times are 30 per cent
shorter than market standards due to advanced
construction technology and hull engineering solutions.
The
stunning early sales figures make the 499GT, four-deck
superyacht the most popular 50m model in history.

This primarily wood
Benetti B.Now 50M model is
80 cm long. Will
be completed soon.
