NORWEGIAN EPIC

"I have tried many times to call you. I wanted to tell you personally how much I appreciate my Norwegian Epic! It completely beat any expectation I might of had. You have my most sincere thanks and appreciation.  You will hear from me shortly as I need to order a display case.  Very best regards, Matthew L"

The Norwegian Epic surpasses the Jewel-class as NCL's largest vessel by almost 60,000 GT.  Norwegian Epic represents the "third generation" of Freestyle cruising vessels and its size allows NCL to have a ship that is in the "mega-class" of their competitors at Royal Caribbean International and Carnival Cruise Lines.  The ship has 4,100 passenger berths, with all outside cabins having balconies. The Epic introduced 100 square foot interior studio cabins for solo passengers, including a shared "living room" for socializing.

Norwegian Epic's Aqua Park' has the only tube and bowl water slide at sea. The ship also has a rappelling wall and two three-lane bowling alleys. It also has a 17 °F (−8 °C) Ice Bar where the drinks are served in ice glasses and patrons wear parkas.

The F3-class ship was built by STX Europe at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

On 13 April 2010 NCL CEO Kevin Sheehan along with Macy's, Inc CEO Terry J. Lundgren and NBC CEO Jeff Zucker announced that the Macy's 34th Annual 4 July Fireworks would take place on the Norwegian Epic (The fireworks were off on another Ship) The NBC One-Hour Telecast of the Event was broadcast from the Norwegian Epic.

This primarily wood Norwegian Epic model  features:

- Scratch-built from official plans

- Pank-on-frame hull. This construction method gives accurate hulls, as artisans create the frame of the hull exactly like in drawings. The solid hull method, on the other hand, employs most guesswork on the degree of curvature.

- Windows and portholes are cutouts (not black decals), uniform, and on straight lines.  We are not shy to show the model in large photos. Nothing to hide!

48" long  $5,395 Shipping and insurance in the contiguous USA included. Other places: $500 flat rate.

72" long
$7,990 Shipping and insurance in the contiguous USA included. Other places: $800 flat rate.

Lighting feature is included.  A ship is not an ocean liner without beautiful lighting. LED light powered by standard 9v battery for your convenience. Our model has realistic and beautiful lighting, including navigation light. Cheap model makers neither care nor able to keep up with our artistry and and engineering ability.

Model is built per commission only. We require only a small deposit (not full amount, not even half) to start the process $500  The remaining balance won't be due until the boat is completed, in several months.
