COSTA SERENA
Costa Serena is a Concordia-class cruise ship for
the Italian cruise line Costa Crociere. The name
Serena was intended to symbolize harmony and
serenity. Since her inauguration and entry into
service in mid-2007, she has been the line's
flagship. Together with her sister ship,
Costa Serena are the largest
and longest ships in the Costa Crociere fleet.
Costa Serena is full of
mythology and ancient Rome: 5,990 works of art to
be explored. She is a true floating
temple of entertainment.
The ship has 5 restaurants. There are 13 bars, including a
Cognac & CigarBar and a Coffee & Chocolate Bar.
MV Costa Serena sports 5
Jacuzzis, 4 pools, two with retractable covers,
multipurpose sports pitch, and outdoor jogging track.
In 2009 Costa Serena and
her crew was featured in the six-episode National
Geographic Channel documentary series "Cruise Ship
Diaries."
