HALF HULL MODEL

Model Ship Master crafts only premium half hull models. When you compare across the Internet, linger a bit longer and you will have a feeling of luxury, liveliness, and exquisite details embedded in our models. In today's fast-paced environment, not everyone could manage to fully appreciate the artistic quality in fine objects but it is this quality that will have a long lasting impression on the viewers' mind. From the selection of wood colors to the details such as the window frames, the size of the board... We even leave the metal nameplate detached so that the owner can choose the best corner to glue it on. We treat your half hull model as an art piece, not a functionality.

Model Ship Master is the place where the most challenging models are made. If you can supply only a couple of old photos, we are perhaps the only firm that won't turn you away. The passion which has propelled us to the position today has a great role to play in it. That's the reason our collection of models is much more extensive, and much higher quality than anywhere.

Our models and prices are not for everybody but if your taste demands the best, let us know at Services@ModelShipMaster.com

A half hull model is a wooden model featuring only one half of a boat. They were originally made as a tool by shipyards. There were several purposes, both technical and for marketing and communication. The art of making half hull boat models is as old as ship building itself.

Nowadays, half hulls were no longer used for ship design but for nautical art in homes, offices, and nautical clubs. Half hulls do not take up a lot of space, making them perfect for displaying nautical art and décor when you lack space for a large ship model. They also make great nautical gifts.

This model boat has been displayed at Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston, SC since 2021.
