HOSPITAL SHIP
USNS MERCY
(T-AH-19)
The Mercy
is one of two hospital ships in the Mercy-Class
maintained by the U.S. Navy. She is converted from a San
Clemente-class supertanker which was originally built in
the 1970s by the National Steel and Shipbuilding
Company.
Mercy came into service in 1986. She is operated
by Military Sealift Command to provide emergency,
on-site care for American combatant forces. She is also
for use in support of disaster relief and humanitarian
operations. She has twelve fully equipped operating
rooms, a 1,000-bed hospital facility, radiological
services, a medical laboratory,
pharmacy, optometry lab, CT scan equipment, and
two oxygen-producing plants.

We accept the commission
to build this model at any sizes. One of the most
popular scales for ship model is
1:350 that results in a 31"
long (80cm) model. If this size fits your space nicely,
we can build it for $2,700. Lighting
feature is $300 extra. S & H is only $90.
Only a commitment deposit of 30% of the amount is needed
to start the construction. The remaining balance won't
be due until the model is completed, in 3-4 months.
Progress photos will be updated every month.
$900
We can also build the
hospital ship USNS Comfort, as these two ships are of
the same class and there're not many differences in
appearance.
