Swift boat model

 

Swift boats were small, shallow draft water vessels operated by the United States Navy for counterinsurgency operations during the Vietnam War.

The first two PCFs were delivered to the Navy in late August 1965. A total of 193 fast patrol craft were constructed for the United States Navy, the Philippine Navy, Thailand, Cambodia, Brazil and Zaire.

Attention!!

"PCF 37 navigated the Brazos River, Arriving in Waco on 23 Dec as promised. Will be displayed in my "I love me" room. Slight damage to
radar scanner.  Trying a little wood glue to make repair. I plan to advise some of my co workers from 40 years ago to buy  a model. I am pleased.
